    Portfolio

    Twenty ideas. Taking shape.

Mobile apps, web platforms, AI experiences, a Shopify store, and games. Every one of these started as a sentence. Some are live and running today and we still operate them; the rest are in development, prototype testing, or research, which is the clearest evidence we can offer of how we work.

    Bolo East Asia

    BollyMoves

Class management and a family portal for a working dance studio. Enrollment, schedules, billing, and communication in one place, built against the real demands of running a studio rather than a generic template.

    GroomService

An AI business analyst that interviews you one question at a time and returns a structured backlog: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria in your chosen format, and the open questions nobody had thought to ask. Exports to Word, Excel, Markdown, and Jira. This is the product management practice on the previous section, productised.

    Tidehunter RNG

A metal detecting hunt across a shifting beach, built for Roblox. Sweep for buried signals, read the meter, and dig. Forty nine finds across eight rarity tiers, from Rusty Cans up to The First Wave at one in a hundred million, with weather that rewrites your odds and five detectors to work toward. Every roll is server authoritative, and the codex shows the honest odds for all of them. Built alongside a browser simulator that runs a hundred thousand digs in a second, so the drop rates were tuned on evidence rather than on feel.

    Saaj & Stone

Statement jewellery, reconsidered. Kundan and meenakari pieces made to be worn rather than kept in a box, shipping from New Jersey. We built and run the Shopify store behind it: brand, theme, catalogue, payments, shipping, and the email flows. Proof that the ecommerce work above is something we do for ourselves as well.

    Engagements

Plain pricing, decided before we start

Four ways to work with us, from a straightforward website to a product built over months. Every one is a fixed number agreed up front, so you know what you are committing to before any work begins, and small projects get the same attention as large ones.

    Ongoing development

    Price varies

based on scope; cancel with 30 days notice

    • Continuous development on your product
    • Releases, store submissions, and fixes
    • Direct access to the person building it
    • No minimum term
    Talk it through

Larger projects are quoted from the discovery week, so the number you get is based on your actual scope rather than a guess. Hourly rates are available on request, and if your job is smaller than anything listed here, ask anyway. We would rather tell you it is a two day fix than watch you overpay for it.

    How we work

    Fewer clients, closer attention.

LARK is deliberately small. You work with the person doing the work, not an account manager. That means we take on a limited number of engagements at a time, and it means we will tell you when the thing you asked for is not the thing you need.

    Start with the real problem

Before anything gets built we agree on what success looks like and what it is worth.

    Ship in working pieces

Something usable early, then improved, rather than a long silence and a big reveal.

    Leave it maintainable

Documented, deployable, and handed over so you are not dependent on us to keep it running.

    Questions

    Before you get in touch

The things people ask first, answered plainly.

Do you work with small businesses, or only software companies?

Both, and we mean it. A five page site for a shop in Middlesex County is a real project and gets the same care as a mobile app. The dance studio site and portal in our portfolio is exactly that kind of client, and it has been running for years.

How much does a simple website cost?

A five page business website starts at $1,500, fixed, usually about two weeks. That covers the writing, the build, your domain and email, a contact form that reaches you, and your Google Business listing. No monthly platform fee afterwards.

Do I need to know exactly what I want before I call?

No. Most people do not, and working that out is part of the job. Describe the problem in your own words and we will turn it into a scope with a price on it.

Do I have to use AI?

No. We build plenty of software with no AI in it at all. AI goes in when it does something a normal feature cannot, and we will tell you when it is the wrong tool, which is more often than the market currently admits.

Where are you based, and can you work remotely?

Parlin, New Jersey, in Middlesex County. We work with businesses across Sayreville, Old Bridge, East Brunswick and the wider central New Jersey area in person, and with clients anywhere in the United States remotely.

    Who actually does the work?

The person you talk to. There is no account manager in between and no handoff to a team you have not met. That is the reason we take on fewer clients. Email or text (732) 801-0478, whichever suits you.
